If you are looking for Skylights, don't look any further than Don, and get it done with Don. He has done such a wonderful job from beginning to end. He had travel ed 150 miles to Longview to install them. He and his team pay attention to every detail. It took longer than we thought, but skylight installation is always with surprises until you open your roof. Don ended up doing more work which is why it took longer time. Here is the good part, he did that extra work without charging me more. I voluntarily paid him a little more, but not sure if I really compensated him for that or not. thank you for all the work Don. We love our skylights. They open to let cool air in and hot air out. I though my electric bill would go up but it went down due to using less electric lighting. Another benefit is that we can have real plants. The E glass filters out the harmful Ray's and let's the good ones in. We love them so much we had solar tubs installed in the kitchen and bathroom. My neighbor is a roofing contractor; I asked him for a referral to skylight manufacturer, since he had broad experience with different companies. He pointed me toward Texas Skylight. After I reviewed their website, I called to request an estimate. They were willing to give me a range of prices over the phone, but wisely insisted on looking my house, and doing their own measurements. The custom made skylight is beautiful - bronze outside layer, a second bronze layer, and a clear inside layer. The layers and the airspace provide insulation against heat and cold. They include an aluminium frame; the installation team brought the new skylight and both removed the old system and installed the new one.
